Contemporary

Suitable for 10 years and up, this class encourages students to dance both with precision and freedom.

In this class we work mainly with release technique with influences from International teachings such as Cunningham, Graham and Flying Low. Students learn the fundamentals of contemporary dance and then use these to create and perform routines, test their improvisation skills and progress into choreographing their own pieces.
